The service

Brain Arena ("we", "us") generates trivia question sets from the content of your own Ounie brains, at your direction, and hosts the resulting arenas, leaderboards, and duels. You ("you", "the customer") pay for question sets generated at the rates published on our pricing page; playing is free and requires no account.

Acceptable use

You may only generate arenas from brains your Ounie account can access, and only stake brains you own in duels. You will not attempt to discover endpoints we haven't documented, bypass rate limits, or manipulate leaderboards with automated play. Generated questions inherit whatever rights you hold in the underlying brain content; publishing an arena makes those questions publicly playable at the share link.

Account & billing

There is no subscription for this product. Usage is billed in Ounie credits from your shared Ounie wallet — 5 credits reserved per arena generation, settled on the questions you actually publish (fewer questions settle for less); 1 credit per round pack of extra questions; in a duel, each side pays for the set generated from their own brain. Credits are purchased and managed on ounie.com; your arenas and prior outputs remain accessible regardless of your credit balance.

Failed payment

If your Ounie wallet runs out of credits, no new generation can start, but published arenas stay live and playable and buying credits restores full functionality. We do not delete user data because of an empty wallet.

Refunds

Failed generations are refunded automatically (the credit reservation is reversed). A brain too thin to produce a playable set refunds in full; unused reserve refunds at publish; duel invites that are declined, or expire after 7 days, refund the challenger. You are never charged for questions that weren't published. For anything else, open a support ticket.

Service availability

We target 99.5% monthly uptime for the API and dashboard. Question quality depends on what your brain contains; we generate only from your sources, drop any question that can't cite a brain page, and never pad an arena with outside knowledge.

Liability

Our liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Termination

Either party can terminate at any time. You retain access to data you've already paid for. We may suspend accounts for material violations of these terms with notice.
